Our Values

Care for Kids = Care for ALL

Care for Kids is committed to effectively meeting the needs of individuals in Lucas County. To truly embody our mission, we must passionately advocate for all individuals in need, which requires acknowledging the role that philanthropy plays in supporting real change. Our goal is to create a society where people from all backgrounds and identities can live and participate in all aspects of life. Care for Kids = Care for ALL.

Our History

Welcome to Care for Kids, a nonprofit organization established in 2021 with a mission to make a difference in the lives of children and our community.

We have over 30 years of combined experience running corporate and private foundations focused on philanthropy, which has inspired us to start Care for Kids to address gaps in the process and achieve faster, bigger and better change.

At Care for Kids, we believe in greater collaboration, maximizing the use of finite resources and providing education to both donors and nonprofits to support positive change. All causes concerning children matter to us, with a particular focus on education as it has the power to change a child’s life, family and generational norms.

Our team consists of experienced and passionate individuals dedicated to creating a better future for our community. Craig Williams, who led a private foundation for 25 years, is an adept businessman and advocate for change. Sydney Williams leads a private foundation and sits on numerous nonprofit boards and committees specifically focused on children-related issues in our community. Aly Sterling, President of Aly Sterling Philanthropy, is an expert in fundraising, strategic planning and board development for nonprofits and has been featured in national and regional organizations.

At Care for Kids, we are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and our community at large. For more information, please contact info@iCareforKids.org.
