UT Neff College of Business and Innovation X IMPACT
The Next IMPACT: Student Solutions for Community Challenges
Community organizations often face important challenges and opportunities that could benefit from additional capacity, fresh perspectives, and dedicated project support. At the same time, university students are seeking meaningful opportunities to apply classroom knowledge to real-world issues while developing professional experience.
During this interactive session, nonprofit and community organizations will have the opportunity to present real organizational challenges, initiatives, and project ideas for consideration by The University of Toledo’s Neff College of Business and Innovation. Through brief presentations and discussion, organizations will share opportunities where student engagement may help advance strategic priorities, improve operations, strengthen outreach efforts, support growth initiatives, or address other community needs.
The goal of the session is to identify projects that can generate meaningful value for participating organizations while also providing impactful experiential learning opportunities for students. Identified opportunities may be incorporated into future coursework, student consulting engagements, research initiatives, internships, or other university-supported collaborations throughout the academic year.
Organizations are encouraged to think broadly about challenges they would like to address, opportunities they would like to explore, or initiatives that would benefit from additional time, talent, and perspective. Together, these partnerships have the potential to create lasting impact for students, organizations, and the communities they serve.
