Jenny Goldberg Perin is a seasoned nonprofit strategist, philanthropy advisor, and speaker with nearly two decades of experience helping mission-driven organizations strengthen their impact through strategic fundraising, organizational development, and philanthropic leadership.
After serving as Executive Director of a regional health system foundation, Jenny spent a decade helping build and grow a startup nonprofit consulting firm, where she partnered with organizations across the country to strengthen fundraising programs, lead campaign planning initiatives, and develop long-term philanthropic strategies. She later launched her own consulting practice, continuing her work as a trusted advisor to nonprofit leaders, boards, and executive teams.
Over the course of her consulting career, Jenny has partnered with more than 150 nonprofit organizations, healthcare foundations, educational institutions, and community organizations. Her clients have included ProMedica Foundation, Ronald McDonald Houses, Habitat for Humanity chapters, Metroparks Toledo Foundation, and nearly every public school foundation in northwest Ohio. Her experience spans healthcare, K–12 public and private education, higher education, parks and recreation, and community-based organizations, giving her a broad perspective on the strategies that help nonprofits build sustainable growth and long-term community impact.
Jenny is best known for leading campaign planning and feasibility studies, conducting comprehensive fundraising assessments, and managing transformational capital and endowment campaigns. She works alongside executive leaders, boards of directors, and development teams to evaluate organizational readiness, strengthen fundraising infrastructure, develop strategic fundraising plans, and build the systems and culture of philanthropy necessary for long-term success.
Throughout her career, Jenny has helped organizations secure millions of dollars through major gifts, comprehensive fundraising strategies, and transformational capital and endowment campaigns. Known for her practical, collaborative approach and ability to simplify complex fundraising challenges, she is a trusted advisor to organizations seeking not only to raise more philanthropic support, but to build stronger, more resilient organizations.

A Toledo native, Jenny is a proud graduate of the University of Toledo and lives in Waterville, Ohio, with her husband, Jeff, and their two children, Charlie and Lucy. Beyond her consulting practice, Jenny serves on the Anthony Wayne Local Schools Generals for Generations Foundation Development Committee, the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Ohio Development Committee, and as a board member of the Toledo Grows.
