President, SJS Investment Services
Kevin focuses on enhancing the client experience at SJS. He ensures that all operations along with investment and client support functions are “SJS-worthy” and running efficiently. Since January 2022, Kevin is also the Chief Compliance Officer of SJS. An investment professional since 2000, Kevin serves on the SJS Investment Committee and provides guidance on portfolio design and investment strategy.
Kevin started out his career with an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Notre Dame, and then earned a Master of Management degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He has held management positions in large and small organizations, including non-profits.
Through his love of analytics and science Kevin transitioned to SJS because of its science-based investment principles that guide decisions, but even more so he was attracted to its client-first culture and entrepreneurial spirit.
Kevin grew up in Minneapolis and found his way to northwest Ohio through his college sweetheart and wife, Kate (deceased in 2019.) Kevin & Kate have been blessed with eight children and thirteen grandchildren. Kevin serves on several non-profit boards, including on the Finance Council and Investment Committee of the Diocese of Toledo, Board Member of the Catholic Community Foundation of Ohio, and on the Finance Committee of St. Joseph Church in Sylvania, Ohio. He is a former board member of Sunshine Communities Foundation, Bella Vita (Pregnancy Center), and Foundation for Life.
When time permits, Kevin enjoys cooking in the kitchen and on the grill, and family gatherings large and small.
