With over 25 years of leadership experience spanning both urban and rural communities, Mike specializes in guiding organizations through pivotal moments of growth and maximizing their regional impact.
Throughout his career Deetsch has focused on building organizational capacity, expanding access to resources, and fostering deep community engagement. At the helm of the John Henry Eldred Jr. Foundation, he orchestrates strategic, multi-million-dollar grant initiatives that fuel the vital networks keeping regional families fed, housed, and educated. Grounded in the belief that local nonprofits are the true experts on the ground, Deetsch is passionate about equipping mission-driven organizations with the capital, strategic direction, and capacity-building tools they need to drive long-term, systemic change. He holds degrees from Hanover College (IN) and Pratt Institute (NY).
