Tom Voutsos

Tom Voutsos is the Founder and CEO of LadderUp Housing, a Toledo-based company building an alternative pathway to homeownership for working families. LadderUp acquires and renovates or constructs homes, rents them to residents while they build credit with a financial coaching partner, then sells those same homes to the tenants once they’re mortgage-ready. The company has expanded that model to Akron, Warren, and Pittsburgh. This year, LadderUp built and launched CLIMB, an in-house mortgage-readiness platform its clients and coaching partners now use. A former Marine Corps officer, Tom is an Obama Foundation Scholar with an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a graduate of the University of Notre Dame.
